Work in partnership with Annie Antoine
Over the last ten years I have worked extensively with Annie Antoine in an Arts partnership formerly known as SPIRIT LEVEL. We have both have been professional Ceramicists for over twenty years and came together following funding from the National Lottery through the Arts Council of England to work with school children.

While I specialise in hand thrown and sculpted ceramics, individually glaze-painted, and am greatly influenced by patterns in Nature, Annie pinches and slabs figurative pots and sculptures, inspired by water and the creatures that live in and around it. |

Standing Stone "On the Line"
The Glebe & Hawes Down Schools Though we both exhibit our individual work and take commissions- as a partnership we have worked in Bromley Schools passing on our skills to pupils of all ages through a large variety of projects, and are recommended by The Education Development Centre, Bromley. A common feature has been that, the work of many children has been assembled and displayed as a composite mural or sculpture. These projects have been Curriculum linked or theme based. Our ethos has been to give as much detailed personal, technical and historical information as is appropriate.

Where possible, the final form of the images produced has been derived directly from children/young people's own designs and ideas. We have also created several unique, magical outdoor spaces incorporating eco-friendly planting schemes. |

We have worked on many scales from small 'Packages' with specific outcomes such as a decorative board displaying a group's tiles, to much more ambitious permanent architectural sculptures, reliefs and features, a few of which you can see here. Other examples can be viewed on request .It has been very demanding and exciting work, which I have thoroughly enjoyed on both a personal and professional level. I feel very privileged to have been part of the creation of these pieces of work, as well as the unity they inspired.
